SFE Golden Opportunity Scholarship
SFE’s Golden Opportunity Scholarship celebrates the potential of future payments leaders by supporting their professional development through a focused educational opportunity. Nominations for eligible candidates should be submitted via the online application to be considered for the scholarship award. All applications are due by September 30, 2026. The scholarship recipient will be announced on October 21, 2026. 
 
Award
One Individual 2027 SFE Education Plan - The Scholarship recipient will receive a year’s access to SFE webinars!*
 
*Access includes 10 – 12 specific educational webinars to be determined and offered in 2027 with a total value of approximately $2,500 - $3,000. Actual cost of an SFE Individual Education plan for Members is $1,200. For any training event that is completed, you will receive the recording and materials after the live event regardless if you are able to attend. Substitute attendee is allowed if scholarship recipient is unable to attend any certain live webinar. Accreditation prep courses are excluded from the plan.
 
Eligibility

• Employed by an SFE Member Financial Institution or Affiliate
• Has a demonstrated commitment to professionalism
• Has a dedicated interest in expanding their payments knowledge
• Primary consideration given to payments industry professionals
