APRPs Serve as an Essential Resource to Help Combat Fraud and Support Risk Mitigation

APRP Prep Begins April 3, 2024

Financial institutions continue to face increasing fraud and payments risk, particularly given the growing movement by the industry to a faster payments environment. A recent PYMNTS.com study indicated that "financial institutions often identified increased payments speed as a key issue exposing them to fraud."

But given the fact that faster payments aren't going away, financial institutions need to find ways to mitigate fraud and risk associated with the faster movement of money to ensure they can safely and securely provide faster payments as an option. And one of the best ways to do that is to have risk expertise on staff.

Accredited Payments Risk Professionals (APRPs) can serve as that trusted resource. APRPs acquire a mastery of risk mitigation across all payment channels, including faster payments, which is why they serve as a critical component of an organization's Risk Management Team, and key to ensuring regulatory compliance.

If you want to grow the number of APRPs on your staff, or you are interested in becoming an APRP yourself, now is the time to take the leap, as SFE's APRP Exam Prep Program begins April 3. The Program consists of a series of 12 Webinars on various risk-related topics that prepare you for the APRP Exam, as well as a package of six publications, including the ACH Risk Management Handbook, ACH Compliance Manual, and more.

Now is the time to get started, so be sure to register for the Prep Program today. And if you are still on the fence, be sure to check out our free So You Think You Want to Be an APRP on-demand training program.
