MSN

Hours after a reported bank robbery in east Louisville on Friday, Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) say the suspect has been arrested.

The robbery happened around 9:30 a.m. at the PNC Bank in the 8000 block of Shelbyville Road, near Oxmoor Mall, according to LMPD.

LMPD identified the suspect at Armond J. Langford, 32. He's been charged with first-degree robbery, kidnapping an adult, two counts of kidnapping a minor, and first-degree assault.

"These charges reflect the severity of his actions and the trauma inflicted on innocent victims," LMPD said in an update Friday night.

According to police, Langford gave investigators a full confession and disclosed details of additional crimes dating back to 2018.
