CHICAGO — The Lurie Children’s Hospital network outages entered a fifth day Sunday following a cyber attack.
The downtown hospital, located at 225 East Chicago Avenue in the Streeterville neighborhood, had its phone, email and MyChart systems go down Wednesday in what the hospital has described as a cybersecurity matter.
Lurie says its call center is fully operational to address the needs of patients and community providers and that the hospital is working with experts and law enforcement, but parents are still unable to log on to their children’s patient portals.
