About Southern Financial Exchange (SFE)

Southern Financial Exchange is a regional non-profit payments association headquartered in New Orleans, LA. For 40+ years, SFE has provided industry leadership, payment systems education, compliance support, consulting and risk management services. Our members are financial institutions and businesses primarily in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. Our mission is to provide leadership, education, and innovative, cost effective products and services for the mutual benefit of our members and their customers. Southern Financial Exchange, through its Direct Membership in NACHA, is a specially recognized and licensed provider of ACH education, publications and support.

Conference - Additional information

The theme to the 2019 Conference will continue as Digital Directions. Registrants will hear the latest information on payments strategies, operations, and technology solutions, and risk and compliance issues related to ACH, Card, Checks, Mobile, RDC, Wire and Emerging Payments, and more! Avoid heading the wrong direction and navigate your institutions with the knowledge you will gain! Don't miss the signs that will lead you to the future of payments. This is your opportunity to get the most up-to-date and relevant content from the most dynamic speakers in the payments industry. You'll also have opportunities to interact with and learn from other payments professionals and solutions providers.

Requests for refunds will be accepted if received, in writing, by April 5, 2019. A cancellation fee of $35 per attendee will be charged. For cancellations received after April 5th, no refunds can be issued. Substitutions are accepted in writing at any time. Failure to attend will not serve as a cancellation request. The fees for workshops, conferences, materials or services paid to Southern Financial Exchange (SFE), a non-profit corporation, may be deductible for members’ federal income tax purposes as ordinary and necessary business expenses. Please consult your tax advisor for individual assistance in specific member situations.

Dress Code

Business casual is suggested for all events. We suggest you bring a sweater or jacket for your comfort.

Green Initiative

In an effort to reduce waste and decrease the use of paper products at the meeting, there will be no paper copies of session handouts at the event. One week prior to the conference you will be provided a web link to the handouts available at that time. Please take a minute to review the handouts and print any you would like to review. Notepaper will be provided at the event for taking notes. The handouts will be available electronically for six months after the conference.
