Third-Party Senders play an important and valuable role in the ACH Network, but it is important that financial institutions understand and appropriately manage these relationships. Nacha’s new rule on Third-Party Sender Registration becomes effective on Sept. 29, 2017. Under the rule, an Originating Depository Financial Institution (ODFI) will either register its Third-Party Sender customer(s) with Nacha, or provide to Nacha a statement that it has no such customers. This webinar covers the rationale and the requirements of the new rule, as well as an ODFI’s perspective on managing its Third-Party Sender clients and its preparations to provide the registration information.
